The Quilted Wood Daybed, created by Elisa Strozyk, uses a paper-thin wood veneer designed as a traditional quilted textile. Each piece of wood is sewn to each other, creating a geometrical pattern, yet organic shape, flexible and moldable as fabric.
“The fabric appears to be a common upholstery textile but transforms into a free grown shape which is autonomous from the furniture piece”
Isn’t this daybed genius? It is a simple design, very elegant, intelligent, and I bet it is comfortable too.
